Supreme Costs provides the complete litigation service to help you recover your costs as quickly as possible and to maximum effect.
Within the Detailed Assessment procedure, Supreme Costs will:
- Draft Schedules and negotiate with the other side
- Draft Bills of Costs within an agreed timescale
- Prepare Detailed Assessment Bills of Costs where negotiation is unsuccessful
- Prepare Part 8 Proceedings for issuing in non-litigated files
- Serve the Bill of Costs and lodge the Bill at Court for assessment
- Consider Points of Dispute and draft Replies
- Prepare documents for lodging prior to court proceedings
- Attend and conduct Detailed Assessment Hearings and Appeals
- Prepare enforcement proceedings where costs remain outstanding for an unacceptable period of time
- Review the costs assessed by the Court and advise you on prospects of an appeal if appropriate
- Complete the Legal Aid Assessment Certificate and acquire the sealed certificate from Court
- Submit all relevant documents to the Legal Services Commission for payment
